“CIPR GAG Announces Annual Lunch and Speaker: Andrew Pierce"

The CIPR Government Affairs Group has announced that the speaker for its keynote annual lunch will be Andrew Pierce, the Assistant Editor of the Daily Telegraph.

Pierce is a regular commentator on a range of TV and radio programmes and is now the regular political commentator on LBC. He will give a tour d’horizon of the current political scene. The event will be held, as in previous years, at the Members’ Dining Room in the House of Commons, following a drinks reception on the House of Commons Terrace. The luncheon will be hosted by Labour peer Lord Howie of Troon. The events will be sponsored by Electus.

Chairman of the Group, Robert Khan said:

“I am delighted that Andrew Pierce has agreed to deliver the first Government Affairs Group Annual Lecture. GAG has always attracted high profile speakers for its annual lunch, including in previous years Simon Hoggart, Michael White and Armando Iannucci. Andrew Pierce is no exception. I am also delighted that this year the lunch will be sponsored by Electus”.

Rebecca Whitney, Managing Director of Electus said:

“I am pleased to be working with CIPR GAG and sponsoring their annual lunch. This is one of the key events in the public affairs industry calendar and I am delighted that Electus is able to support it.”
