Government Affairs Group Annual Luncheon

Venue: Members’ Dining Room, The House of Commons
Speaker: Andrew Pierce, Journalist and Political Commentator

The CIPR Government Affairs Group Christmas Lunch, sponsored by Electus, Premier Executive Search in Government Affairs and Communications, is now fully booked up. If you would like to attend but do not yet have a ticket you can contact Elizabeth Brogan (see details below) for news of any late availability.

Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker Andrew Pierce, Assistant Editor of The Daily Telegraph, is both feared and respected at Westminster and beyond. Witty and urbane, beneath his charming exterior lies a forensic mind and terrier like tenacity...

After beginning his journalistic career in local newspapers and then freelancing for the nationals, Andrew Pierce first joined the Times in 1988. Following a spell as assistant editor at the Daily Express, he re-joined The Times in 1999 also as assistant editor and has recently moved to the Telegraph. As well as having a long and glittering career in Fleet Street, Andrew is a regular commentator on a range of TV & radio programmes. For 4 years he co-presented the highly acclaimed politics show Sunday Service on Radio 5 and is now the regular political commentator on LBC. He will give a tour d’horizon of the current political scene.
