Government Communication - the challenges in the year ahead

We're delighted that Matt Tee, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary for Government Communication, will be the main event at GAG's September speaker meeting, kindly sponsored by Ellwood & Atfield.

Matt Tee has been is his current role, based in the Cabinet Office, since January 2009. He is the Head of Profession for all civil service communicators. Prior to this, Matt was Chief Executive of NHS Direct, the national telephone and internet advice service. His previous Whitehall roles have included Director General for Communications at the Department of Health and Director of News at DTI. He was also responsible for the NHS Star Ratings for some time and spent a period in the private sector as Business Development Director at Dr Foster.

As ever, the meeting will kick off at at 6pm with drinks and nibbles, with speeches beginning at 6.30pm.
