New legislation RSS feeds

A friend of mine at the OPSI (which used to be HMSO) tells me that they have just launched a series of RSS feeds for new legislation (at the moment sub divided by area rather than topic - but they have plans to enhance the service in future). This is hot off the press - the new service started last night.

Visit http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/whatsnew.htm#rssfeeds to subscribe.

The content in these RSS feeds is Crown copyright and subject to waiver, so freely re-usable.

They are keen for feedback. So if you use the feeds and find them useful please email john.sheridan@cabinet-office.x.gsi.gov.uk.

An increasing number of government departments, agencies and parties are now using RSS feeds (see http://www.treasurydirect.gov/rss/index.htm for another example). Does anyone make particularly heavy use of them or find them particularly valuable? Let me know crozierg@yahoo.co.uk) and I will post up any useful responses / suggestions. We are using a few here on the GAG website but we are thinking about using more.
